WRTNJust recently, on August 8, 2022, we had a major celebration for The Asteroid War, the long-awaited and highly-demanded sequel to our smash hit, The Asteroid Parts. And we are excited to announce that the third book in the trilogy, The Asteroid Home, is releasing on December 31 of this year, marking the end of the year as the same as the last release of the saga's original trilogy. That means that four new books have been published this year alone, including both from the saga and the original short story The End, helping us reach our goal of creating a narrative page from scratch. From here, WRTN Stories will go on a quick hiatus, as newer, better, and longer novels have been commissioned by our founder, ensuring that the quality of each story will rise with it. Projects like Animal Farm and The Asteroid Saga's prequel trilogy still have a long way ahead of them, though smaller, possibly even contributed projects may premiere. Currently, there are no projects scheduled for release after The Asteroid Home.
With the recent happenstance of WRTN's founder Jason Elhilow being class president of his grade, a focus on certain content relating to that will become abundant. Speeches, declarations, and even articles will likely be posted directly to this site, giving easy access to his followers and allowing for open communication with all locals. And, for anyone who does not know him personally, it is a great chance to look at certain aspects of leadership and hard work, possibly allowing you to learn and grow with him. Nevertheless, it means an increase in more localized and specific content that may not apply to everyone, but is still interesting to read.
New logos have been ordered across the board on our site, bringing new life to the classic WRTN design. For us, we felt limited by the uses of the old format, wanting to break free of the gradient and lackluster font for a newer, bolder look for each of our brands. It still very much follows a clear formula, but puts more of a focus on the specific pages themselves, while still allowing them to associate with WRTN properly. The main point is that we are always trying to evolve and create, and these new logos are just that, as we continue to strive for perfection.
WRTN Essays will also likely be affected by the magic that is the education system, as many of our papers come from students (including Mr. Elhilow himself) who only write them for academic reasons. This means that during the summer, very little is released to the page, but during the school year, there is an uptick in content. Overall, this is a good thing, as more quality work will be coming soon, it just takes some time.
For anyone interested in WRTN News, well, here it is. Most of our articles can now be distilled into two categories: News and Reviews. This may not be a shock to long-time fans, but to newer ones, that is it. As of right now, we have no plans to go into any other sector of the news, simply due to a lack of interest. The best thing that can be done for it is for readers like you to contribute, sending in work that we will publish for FREE, giving you space on our easy-to-use and premade platform in return. Money will never be made off your content (WRTN is currently profitless), and if you ever want to edit, change, or remove your work from our site, send in a request and it will be done. It is YOUR work; YOU are in control of it, how it succeeds, who sees it, who doesn't. Just because it is on WRTN does not take away from it being YOURS! So, next time you want to share something with the world, give WRTN a thought. We will help you, support you, and ensure that your content is seen by all and cared about.
So, as WRTN grows and expands, we hope you will join us on its journey, as we have much to reveal and much to create in the coming months. We are extremely glad to have you with us, and yearn for a better future for all, where our site is of service to you, and where we are being the best self we can be. WRTN as a platform is built on the ideas of ease and convenience, while serving a premium product for everyone to use. We are so happy about how far we have come, and are excited to see where it all goes next. Until next time, dear reader, and we hope you have a good rest of your year!
