WRTN
WRTN started out as a simple personal portfolio. It expanded to have original content. Then opened its doors to all writers. And now, we are here, three years later, looking at this all. Here are some of the things we've done since last WRTN Day:
  • To date, almost twenty unique authors have joined our pages, with dozens of pieces finally finding a home for the world to view them.
  • We've partnered with MRHS's The Bite & Sandscript to launch Monomoy Writes, creating a new home for student authors.
  • Nearly NINETY pieces have been added, expanding our catalog even further.

Quite simply, there is so much that happens on these days, and the fact that we've made it all the way to 2024 is astonishing. But what comes next?
We never like sharing our plans TOO early in advance, though it can be guaranteed that March 13, 2025, will be a big day. Even bigger than today.
TAP Day will also return on May 17, and WRTN Week from Aug. 1-8. A few other surprises are up our sleeves as well.
Now, when does WRTN... end? Will it end? Will this site stop being active, or being uploaded to, someday? Yes, and no.
We have extensively thought about how things COULD go if we wanted to shutter the site, and it seems that an archival state will be the direction of that. This is not happening now, and won't happen for quite a while, but the end of WRTN's days will not be the end of its activity, and it will remain up as a time capsule of everything we have done. It will remain at wrtnmedia.com, and all work for our founder will remain untouched. Contributor content, on the other hand, is up to question. Just know we are always planning ahead, and that this place never stops.
Today, though, we have nine fantastic pieces releasing, alongside the March edition of Monomoy Writes, and a dozen little updates across the site. Check them all out, especially that Beauty & The Beast review!
Thank you to everyone who has stuck with us through all of this time. We can't wait to show you what's coming.
Happy WRTN Day!
