To the surprise of some, WRTN has managed to stick around for well over two years now, and we have no plans to stop. Just recently, we celebrated both TAP and WRTN Day 2023, in which some fantastic content and updates came. But we have another, much smaller one day around the corner, with the YEAR anniversary of The Asteroid War coming on August 8. So, let's talk about it, along with other things next for WRTN.
The 8th has two major importances, the largest being TAW's birthday, but the other being mine (I'm the founder of WRTN, just FYI). And there is a reason all of this has lined up: TAW is by far my personal favorite of the entire Saga, which streams exclusively on WRTN. When I wrote it, I put in my all, because I knew that it was debuting on a very dear day, and I am excited to say that, with WRTN, both will be celebrated greatly. In August, there will be an article along with a major announcement or two, accompanied by a surprise event that is concealed for a later date (it's not a book, don't worry). THAT, if anything, is for sure what is coming in the next few months. But there is always a bit more.
Content conceptualization, production, and distribution; that is what we do here at WRTN. And even when it is contributor content, there still needs to be editing, integration, and distribution. Simply, there is a bunch of work to do, and we release a ton of stuff, so it's not easy. And that, occasionally, explains how mistakes can slip their way onto our site, something that does not sit well with anyone on our team. So, with the summer here and free time at an all-time high, expect many of those to be either fixed or changed, along with possible content removal if it no longer meets our standards/guidelines (contributors will be warned if their content is removed).
Recently, WRTN launched our Threads page, which is connected to our Instagram. Now, you can catch us on Instagram, Twitter, and Threads to see our newest releases, biggest updates, and most importantly, constant reminders of our best content. @wrtnmedia on all platforms!
Some great stuff is happening here at WRTN, and we are so thankful for all the support we have gotten over the past twenty-eight months. Between all the contributors, pieces, The Asteroid Saga, and more, it is undeniable that we are coming ever closer to being The Home Of Everything Written, meaning that anyone can be a writer. Our goal is to open the world of writing, published or not, and make a transparent platform that is easy to use and offers an excellent reading experience for all. And with every author added, each article posted, the world nears truly democratized publishing, allowing up-and-coming authors can present their work, no strings attached. Writing is a beautiful art of expressing your feelings and ideas into words for everyone to read, and WRTN can help capture, communicate, and champion that. We are so proud of how far things have come, and are excited to see where it all goes next. Until next time, dear reader, and I hope you have a good rest of your year!
