A journey to another world.A time to walk away from fantasy.A start to life and an end to bliss.A bowl filled with soup.
The world turns. My stomach churns. This feeling one yearns.I have to leave it all behind. It burns.
But I can’t. I know I can’t.To change is to slant.Slant to my demons. But it is also into substance. Into life.
Into the inevitable.Out of the pot into pain and opportunity.Leaving the warm broth for a spacey void.Unknown. A blank canvas. A whole new me.
To part ways with “freedom,” and step into freedom.
