"I can't..."
Peering into your diamond eyes.Violet shards. Bedazzling ink.Dreaming of what will be.The beating of our hearts?Synced.
Not another could make me:Bop to the pop,Twirl through its rhythm,Glide on the waxy wood,Or see the copper sunrise glow.
Not another could make you:Smile coast to coast,Laugh a lyric,Tap a tune as I swoon and croon,Or stare at the golden roof in tears.
Spacey spectacles blur your vision.Maroon lipstick stains mine.Sky and grass and dandelion glares. As for tonight?Starry.
"...wait."
